On this 2 day course you will learn all about sewing machines and get comfortable with using them.
On day one we will cover some machine troubleshooting, tips and tricks and get you used to using sewing machines. Accurately measuring and cutting your fabric, including pattern placement and pattern matching. Top stitching, single and double piping and how to attach them properly. Make a hidden zip panel and getting to grips with curves and corners.
On day two you will make your very own cushion cover. You will you make a professionally finished scatter cushion. You can make this with or without piping and you can choose to put in a zip or slip stitch it shut.
Cushion inners and a small selection of fabric will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own fabric. If bringing your own fabric then please bring 1 meter of fabric.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine with you on this course and we can help you get comfortable with your own machine.
Spaces are kept to a maximum of 6.
