We realise that life is very busy and expensive and that not everyone can commit to our five-day courses. With that in mind, we have decided to start an evening course. We are calling this our Upholstery Club and it will be on-going.
It will be held every Wednesday, from 6pm until 9pm. You will have the opportunity to learn traditional and modern techniques, sewing skills, deep buttoning, working with springs, pattern matching and finishing off things to a professional finish. What you learn will depend on what project you bring. If you want some guidance or advice on what to bring then get in touch with us.
Our is studio is a relaxed and social environment so whether you’re looking to learn some new skills, advance your existing upholstery knowledge or to have a nice social, craft based, evening to look forward to each week, this could be just what you’ve been looking for.
This course is booked in four consecutive week blocks. You can come for as long as you like, or you can stop after completing your four weeks.
The price is £120 for four weeks. This includes tool hire and refreshments. Materials are available and paid for separately or you can bring your own. We can also help with your fabric ordering too and have accounts with lots of lovely British fabric designers.
