Natural Fibres – Upholstery without chemicals
We have been working hard to source and try out different types of natural fibres in the aim of working
towards chemical free upholstery. We can help you discover which materials are best suited to your
needs, how to use them and where to source them.
Understanding the fire regulations is also an important factor in upholstery. Everyone needs to make sure they are working towards chemical free upholstery, whilst still meeting these important legal requirements.
There is a lot of information on this side of upholstery to process, it’s very new to a lot of people and we are here to try and get you started on the right track with the right knowledge and confidence.
If you want to work towards a chemical free upholstery practice or just want to offer more solutions to your clients, then you can bring a project along to any of our week courses. Alternatively, we will be running a short weekend course for this. On this weekend you will ideally bring a simple project along to work on or we can supply you with a test frame to use and keep.
The cost of this weekend course is £300, with materials charged on top.
