This isn't just an ordinary lampshade making course! This is a traditional, hand bound and stitched lampshade making course.
This is brought to you by the very talented Ian McQueen.
You will make a soft lampshade lined and a firm lampshade. Both of these will be hand sewn and involve binding the wire frame of your choice. You will learn more than you thought possible in such a short time.
You will have extra time to focus on the one that you find more challenging or if you would prefer, the one you like the most.
We will cover different finishing trims and techniques as well as pleated/pin tuck techniques.
If you've ever wanted to make a WOW lampshade then these are the skills you need to learn.
All materials are included but if you have a particular top fabric you would like to make your shade in then please do bring it with you.
