How to measure up and plan for your own bespoke blinds
Calculate the fabric quantity
Prepare your fabric for a professional finish
Different hand stitches. For example: ladder stitch, herringbone stitch, running stitch and stab stitch
How to make a professional mitre corner at the bottom of the blinds
Using a sewing machine for this task
Choosing the right blind system for your window and other key tools you may need
Adding interlining and lining to the face fabric and the benefits of them
We will also cover the child safety guidance and how to make a child safety compliance Roman blind
After the course you will be able to measure up any window at your house, choose fabric of your choice and make your own bespoke Roman blind with high specifications and to a professional finish.
All materials and refreshments are provided. You will make a sample Roman blind to take home with you.
The cost of this course is £100 and spaces are very limited as we keeping numbers very low on this course.
